Plate removal (Front driver side)
, reset the trouble codes and test drove the vehicle. Tech drove vehicle and confirmed no faults when driving. Tech did hear road noise due to front tires coupling, scraping noise in the front driver side backing plate. In addition tech checked fluids and found coolant level a little low and found a coolant leak coming from the water pump. Tech recommended to replace water pump with timing belt kit, front tires and adjust/remove backing plate for the front driver side wheel which customer agreed to all repairs. Result: Tech installed new front tires, due to backing plate being damage only option was to remove it. New timing belt kit with new water pump installed, new valve cover gasket, new crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, thermostat w/seal and new coolant added. In addition engine oil change was performed. Vehicle test driven and no faults found at the moment.
